Six top scientists were honoured during the 60th-anniversary ceremony of the Heineken Prizes for their outstanding achievements in the field of science. Proteomics pioneers Ruedi Aebersold and Matthias Mann received the Dr H.P. Heineken Prize for Biochemistry and Biophysics 2024. Young scientific talents Kevin ten Haaf, Lorena De Vita, Casper van der Kooi, and Manon van Scheppingen were awarded the Heineken Young Scientists Awards. The ceremony took place at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
